Anyone into JET, BLACK REBEL MOTORCYCLE CLUB or ANDREW W.K.???

I was just curious. I recently bought all these cds. They are my newest purchases! I really like them xpessially BRMC!

I like Jet, but haven't listened to it since I bought it. Too many mediocre songs to last in my rotation for too long.

Never heard BRMC.

Andrew's music is just O.K., but he puts a smile on my face since he is actually a VERY funny guy.

A friend 'mine gave me as a present the BRMC new album but I haven't had free time to listen to it...In the case of Jet,"Get Born" is one of the most interesting records I have discovered in a very long period of time,they aren't into glam ( [img]tongue.gif[/img] ) but they recognize a lot of influences of Rolling Stones or AC/DC (they were supoorting to Rolling in their home,Australia)...

Jet - yet another band from Aus that deserves less airplay than they got, some wanker from the record company decided a bunch of dorks should go for 70's style and will get full support of the media, sad fact of life.

<font size="3" face="Arial">Yeah, but Jet does have some really good songs on that album. Two of which are just great RnR songs, then there are about 4 that fall into that whole "garage band" thing that so many think is a new thing to revive, even though it happened in the 80's already. But then the other half of the album just sucks. I expect the next one to be fucking flat out horrible.

The Darkness would be fucking amazing with a different voice. I can look past it most of the time. But certain songs like "Get Your Hands Off My Woman" are instant skips.
